Biography

David L. Mann joins Luat Su Son as Lead Trial Attorney, representing clients in high-stakes civil matters with determination, strategy, and compassion. His clients do not doubt his loyalty or advocacy.

A seasoned trial attorney, David handles complex and catastrophic injury claims and high-stakes civil litigation across Washington State, including traumatic brain injury, insurance bad faith, and sexual assault matters, among others.

Over the course of his six-year tenure as lead litigator at Ledger Law, a firm with a significant footprint in three states, David led an international trial team. He handled all of Washington State’s high-risk and/or trial-track matters. He secured numerous seven-figure verdicts and “eleventh-hour” settlements– occasionally “on the courthouse steps”. He joined Son Nguyen and the Luat Su Son team following his second consecutive year as the highest recovering attorney at Ledger Law, having secured $5.7 million on behalf of clients in 2024 alone.

Early in his career, David came up with soft-tissue/low-impact matters for Park Chenaur & Associates. While under their employ, he established a reputation for being a tenacious trial lawyer with “fire in the pen”, and the singular ability of being able to move the needle on cases with challenging underlying facts: Rick Park and Angel Chenaur continue to associate strategically with David and Luat Su Son on difficult files, and together they continue to produce tremendous results for their clients.

David earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2012 and his B.A. from Western Washington University in 2001.

Interests

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his nieces, studying foreign languages, skiing, and working on his little beach house in Redondo, on South Puget Sound.
